FINALLY!  It took a few weeks and a few test runs to get the equipment functioning properly (even if we weren’t), but here it is: Episode 1.  Much like the Star Wars movie with the same title, you will be left saying “meh, but cool effects”.  We fully expect to be called the Jar Jar Binks of the podcasting world.  Thank you for downloading, feel free to leave feedback.

Great podcast!. I’ve just heard a couple before, but this one caught my attention until the end. Keep on the good work, and I’ll try to stay away from call centers or you won’t understand my weird accent!

Give yourself more credit, it is a real good start. The mix could be better but I’ve definitely heard worse produced podcasts. Looking forward to #2.

I totally agree with you on the issues of outsourcing. I had trouble with my internet the other day and called Time Warner Cable for tech support. Based on all the times I’ve called whoever for tech support I expected long waits on hold, poor English, and scripted dialogue. Sure enough I wait 30 minutes on hold, and got someone foreign. I dread calling tech support. I gotta empty out my day’s schedule just to make a call.

Totally agree with customer service at retailers. I’ve worked in retail for awhile and when I go to a Walmart it’s like shithole compared to where I work. I almost never ever go to Walmart, but when I do I come in prepared to deal with the sights, smells, and wait times I gotta deal with. I come in wearing pj’s and I feel over-dressed.
